UQM earns follow-on production order for vehicle electric auxiliary motors

UQM Technologies, Inc. (www.uqm.com) has received a $3 million follow-on production order for additional vehicle electric auxiliary motors.

UQM Technologies Inc. has received a $3 million follow-on production order for additional vehicle electric auxiliary motors. The award follows earlier orders for 30,000 motors. Production volumes under the new order are expected to increase substantially.

UQM president and chief executive officer William G. Rankin said the motors are being manufactured in accordance with the advanced product quality planning (APQP) automotive procedures.
