Vishay power metal strip resistors offer 5 W in 2818 package

Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (www.vishay.com) has released the Dale WSH2818 family of Power Metal Strip resistors, which offer 5W capability and resistance values ranging from 1 milliohm to 100 milliohms in WSH2818 packages that measure 0.280 x 0.180 x 0.032-inches (7.1 x 4.6 x 0.813mm).

Vishay Intertechnology Inc. has released the Dale WSH2818 family of power metal strip resistors, which offer 5 W capability and resistance values ranging from 1 mOhm to 100 mOhms in WSH2818 packages that measure 0.280 x 0.180 x 0.032-inches (7.1 x 4.6 x 0.813 mm). They are designed for current sensing, voltage division, and pulse applications, and can be used in dc/dc conversion and voltage regulator modules in automotive electronic controls. The WSH2818 is RoHS-compliant.
