An isolated, adjustable 33-W dc-dc converter, the ARG3000, accepts input voltages of 12, 24, and 48 V dc. The unit's output can be adjusted from 5 to 220 V dc. The ARG3000's patented design lets it source or sync current at its output. The converter can be driven from an external low-frequency signal generator up to 1 kHz to provide a 200-V p-p output voltage. It's input-power-limited and will allow a maximum VO of 33 W. Additional features include an on-board 5-V dc reference, remote on/off control, 300-µA off current, wide input voltage range of 2:1, isolated output, over/under input voltage protection, short-circuit protection, and overtemperature protection. The ARG3000 costs $109 per unit with a lead time of four to six weeks.
