3U cPCI Controller Weathers Tough Environments

Designed for applications requiring resilience to shock and vibration that don't require a monitor, keyboard or mouse, the new CP301 mobile Pentium III-based 3U CompactPCI system controller incorporates a small form factor, passive cooling and soldered-in SDRAM. This single slot 4HP board provides front panel I/O including two serial channels and a Fast Ethernet interface and can be configured for remote boot via LAN using either DHCP or BOOTP protocols. Using a 440BX chipset, processor performance is user selectable over a range of 400 to 700 MHz. System memory can be expanded to 384 Mbytes with an optional 256 MB SODIMM. Other features include optional support for up to up to 288 MB of disk-on-chip storage, PMC expansion, and a rear I/O version with selectable transition modules.
