Offering a 50% board space reduction compared with standard SOIC versions, the 25LC640 and 25AA640 64K serial SPI protocol serial EEPROMs are available in TSSOP, PDIP and 150-mil SOIC packages and offer low operating voltage of 1.8V, fast write cycle operation of 5 ms maximum, and fast clock speed of 3 MHz at 5V. Current requirements are 3 mA write current, 500 µA read current maximum and 1 µA standby current maximum. Endurance is 100,000 erase/write cycles and data retention is 200 years.
