The SBC624 6U OpenVPX single board computer employs a range of processor options including a second-generation quad core Intel Core i7 processor running at 2.1 GHz. The SBC624 succeeds the SBC620 and SB622 based, respectively, on the Intel Core 2 Duo processor and Intel Core i7 processor and provides an optimum upgrade path for existing users. It delivers greater performance than its predecessors, but within the same power envelope. Operating system support includes Windows, Linux, and VxWorks.
