ADC Doubles Bandwidth And Sample Rate

Sept. 1, 2001

Claiming to provide twice the performance of comparable products on the market, the Model 4277 MIX mezzanine, a/d converter provides 32 individual sigma-delta a/d converters with a 16-bit resolution and sampling rates up to 200 kHz. In addition to built-in signal conditioning, the board supports stacking up to three modules on both TMS320C30 and C40 baseboards. Each input is buffered by an amplifier stage with either single-ended or differential inputs, depending on the applicationÕs requirements. Front-panel I/O is accomplished via DB-37 connectors. Additional features include a signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of 90 dB typical with peak spurious components typically better than 90 dB below full scale for signal bandwidths up to 90 kHz. Pricing starts at $5,995 with a delivery time of 12 weeks ARO. For further information and options, call PENTEK, INC., Upper Saddle River, NJ. (201) 818-5900
