The ICP-MULTI is a high-density, multifunction analog and digital I/O board for 3U CompactPCI. It includes 16 single-ended or eight differential 12-bit analog inputs, four 12-bit analog outputs, 16 digital inputs, and eight digital outputs, all on a single 3U CompactPCI board. The device also provides full plug-and-play and hot-swap compatibility, making it useful in industrial monitoring and control applications, such as embedded systems, robotics, energy and environmental, and traffic and transportation.

To maximize ease of use and efficiency, its maker has dispensed with the expensive industrial-style connectors and bulky multistrand wiring common to commercial I/O. The mechanical relays for I/O switching also are gone. Now, all inputs are individually software-configurable. This eliminates awkward jumpers and the related risk of jumpers falling out. Its operating temperature ranges from −40°C to 85°C. Moreover, all I/O channels are galvanically isolated from the CompactPCI bus for added protection.

Pricing for the ICP-MULTI starts at $850. Delivery is 30 days ARO.
