Operating at efficiencies of up to 94%, the CBE1448G1 eighth-brick isolated C-BUS converter delivers 197 W/in.3 and 14 A in a 12-V configuration. The narrow-input (42 to 53 V dc), quasi-regulated device has an output voltage range of 9.7 to 13.3 V dc. It's designed to overcome board-level power-distribution issues associated with optical networks, routers, servers, and storage switches. The converter supports two-stage, dc power conversion in 48-V systems. In turn, these systems provide power to multiple non-isolated point-of-load converters. Pricing is $34 each in lots of 1000.
