Analog SMB Handles High Voltage Apps

July 1, 2000

Designed for HVAC, process control, and remote data-acquisition monitoring, the general-purpose, signal-multiplexing board (SMB) provides ±12V signal inputs and a buffered output. Each channel can have a gain of one, 10 or 50. A three-digit, seven-segment display indicates selected channels and board status. Other features of the SMB board include two-button operation, four relays on-board for alarms and control, and support for standard ASCII character sequences. The card comes in a liquid-tight NEMA-4 enclosure and will operate on 18 to 36 Vdc. List price is $995.
