Backplanes Comply With New PICMG Specification

These new 14-slot cPCI backplanes with bridge comply with the newly released R3.0 of the PICMG cPCI specification, as well as the 2.1 R1.0 hot-swap specification. The board is designed with a primary cPCI bus segment in geographic slots one through seven with a right hand bridged system slot in slot seven. A 64-bit rear pallet bridge mates with the backplane rear connectors RP1 and RP2 in slots seven and 11. Other features include Type AB rear shrouds on RP3 and RP5, switchable 5V or 3.3V operating voltages, and jumperable geographic address. Pricing starts at $1968.
