A family of barometric sensors, the BSDX-BARO, offers precise air pressure measurement in the range of 800- to 1,100-millibars or 12- to 16-psi. The sensors are calibrated and temperature compensated from 32ºF to 185ºF. Total error band is ±1% of full scale including temperature effects. Either an analog output (0.5 to 4.5 V) or a digital I2C bus interface is available. The sensors are housed in miniature DIPs for printed-circuit board mounting. Applications include weather stations, engine test cells and altimeters. SENSORTECHNICS INC., Walpole, MA. (508) 660-8823.
