Battery Connectors Fit Small Products

May 1, 1999

Designed for applications such as cellular telephones, paging devices, clocks, cameras, calculators or electronic organizers, several battery and battery pack connectors come with SMT or DIP contacts. Spring-probe connectors are a one-piece solution for board-to-board applications; lithium cell connectors are lightweight SMT types compatible with pick-and-place assembly; SMT battery pack connectors are mounted in the casing or on circuit boards using pick-and-place assembly; and overcharge control connectors have a discrete resistor and thermistor for overcharge control in SMT packages for pick-and-place assembly.
