While housed in a miniature 1.38'' x 0.88'', 12-pin DIP package, the DMS-20PC series of 3-1/2-digit digital panel meters (DPMs) are easily visible due to the brightness of their indium-gallium-nitride (InGaN) LEDs. The 0.37'' high digits are visible from a distance of 15 ft. The digits use a high-contrast blue filter that enables the DPMs to be used in stand-alone pc board applications without additional bezels, filters or polarizers. An entire assembly occupies just 1 in.2 of pc board area. Power consumption is less than 0.5W when operating from a single 5V power supply. A choice of four input ranges is available: ±199.9 mV, ±1.999V, ±19.99V and ±199.9V. In quantities of 500 pieces, the DPMs cost $33 each. DATEL INC., Mansfield, MA. (508) 339-3000.
