Board-Level Sensor Detects Air Velocity

Nov. 30, 2010
For continuous monitoring of airflow in small locations, the F600 board level air velocity sensor measures 0.5” x 0.25” x 1” long with a 0.1” pitch design.

For continuous monitoring of airflow in small locations, the F600 board level air velocity sensor measures 0.5” x 0.25” x 1” long with a 0.1” pitch design. Communication to the component is via an I2C or UART interface and user-configurable outputs include PWM, tach, or alarm open drain output. Specs include an air velocity range of 100 to 1,000 fpm, operating temperature range from +10°C to +60°C, operation from a 12-Vdc supply, and a ±45° airflow acceptance angle.  A temperature output is also included. Volume pricing starts at $35 each. DEGREE CONTROLS INC., Milford, NH. (877) 334-7332.
