Available in an OEM sub-assembly (board only) version with mounting holes, the HILNAV1 low-noise amplifier (LNA) exhibits a low noise figure, high gain, and a high intercept point across a very wide frequency band. The amplifier operates over a usable frequency range of 50 MHz to 1.5 GHz with a typical gain of 20 dB and a typical third intercept point of +32 dBm. An on-board regulator accepts input voltages from 5V to 30V and reverse-voltage protection is included in the design. Target applications include communication suites, TV, receivers, and RF front ends. Additionally, the amplifier is housed in an extruded aluminum enclosure with an option for mounting lugs built in. Single-unit pricing starts at $149. NUWAVES ENGINEERING, Middletown, OH. (513) 360-0800.
