Board Is Well-Suited For Embedded Uses

Well-suited for embedded PC applications that require speed and 80 x 86 architecture, CPCI-CPU-1 is a high-performance 3U 200 MHz Pentium MMX single-board computer that includes 64 MB DRAM, a 256 KB L2 pipelined burst cache, and enhanced IDE hard drive controller, a floppy disk interface, COM1, COM2, LPT1, a keyboard and PS/2 mouse interfaces. A universal serial bus is provided for distributed functions such as keyboard, modem or distributed I/O. The board also has a 10 Mb Ethernet controller with a 10BaseT front panel connector. Board has a Plug-and-Play BIOS and is fully compatible with all popular PC-based operating systems such as Windows NT, Windows 95 and MS-DOS, OS/2 and UNIX, as well as real-time operating systems such as VxWorks, QNX, pSOS and OS-9. Operating temperature is 0° to 55° C and has an on-board, low-power fan and temperature sensor. Other features are real-time clock, watchdog timer and adjustments for internal and external bus and clock speeds.
