Adding to the Smart Force family, the SFW Series CCFL inverters provide a wide input voltage range from 8V to 18V, open lamp detection, onboard PWM dimming, and lamp current regulation. Available in single- and dual-lamp versions, they feature a profile of less than 6-mm high and a rugged transformer. Other features include direct display connection, a start voltage of 1.8 kVrms, and an operating temperature range of -30ºC to 70ºC. Two single-lamp versions are available: one with the JST output connector SM02 (8.0) B-BHS-TB (SFWA160JF) and one with the JST SM02B-BHSS-1 connector (SFWA160J2F). Prices start at $12.75 each/1,000 for the SFWA160JF single-lamp inverter. ENDICOTT RESEARCH GROUP INC., Endicott, NY. (800) 215-5866.
