Deemed the industry's first automotive clamp EMC filters, the ZCAT08V-BK and ZCAT12V-BK clamp filters are suitable for use as a countermeasure against the effects of electromagnetic noise on the cables that link the various onboard ECUs. The filters employ a unique structure consisting of a vertically split cylindrical ferrite core with an integrated resin case for mounting on cables. The resin case and core material specifies an operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C. Measuring 33 mm in length and 18 mm in diameter (exterior), the ZCAT08V-BK specifies an impedance of 120 Ohms at 100 MHz. The ZCAT12V-BK measures 35 mm long and 27 mm in diameter and specifies an impedance of 140 Ohms at 100 MHz. TDK CORP., Richardson, TX. (877) 498-0099.
