The T3312 and T3212 are a pair of industrial-grade surface-mount clock oscillators based on inverted mesa crystals and rugged multilayer gold/ceramic package design. Their 5-ps rms jitter and −40°C to 85°C temperature range guarantee performance in harsh environments, such as outdoor repeaters and weather reporting stations. They're also suitable for double-sided pc-board designs and portable, personal, and handheld devices. They provide time and frequency reference signals from 20 kHz to 100 MHz. Output frequency accuracy within ±50 ppm is guaranteed within the operating-temperature range. The T3312 and T3212 operate from 3.3 and 5 V, and draw 35- and 45-mA maximum load currents, respectively. Their waveform symmetry is better than 45/55. They drive CMOS and TTL loads and incorporate 0.1-µF bypass capacitors for power-supply decoupling. And, they accept tristate input for ATE diagnostics. Priced at $8.75 in OEM quantities, delivery is stock to six weeks.
