Claiming fame as the smallest microwave coaxial connector available, the HSC series connector measures 0.6 mm in height with a maximum mating height of 1.2 mm and comes in a 2 mm x 2 mm package. Various cable configurations and lengths are available. Target apps include cellular and cordless phones, PDAs, GPS, WLANs, and microwave test equipment. Reported benefits include excellent voltage standing wave ratio characteristics, wide operating frequency from dc to 6 GHz, low insertion loss, and RoHS compliance. Test probes are available and a disengagement tool is also available.
