Compact SBC Packs LCD, I/O And 10Base-T Ethernet

Based on a 486 core and measuring just 5 in.2, the SBC0482 single-board computer (SBC) includes digital I/O, a/d and d/a converters, a sub-VGA LCD controller, and 10Base-T Ethernet support. CPU speeds range from 33 MHz to 100 MHz with on-chip cache and an AT-compatible interrupt, timer, and DMA controllers. The board includes COM1, COM2, and COM4 with RS-232 levels and COM4 can be alternately configured for half - or full-duplex RS-485. Other features include support for up to 8 MB of RAM and144 MB of flash memory. The SBC can boot DOS, Windows CE/95/98/NT, Linux, VxWorks, and other PC-compatible operating systems.
