Based on the company's UniPorte architecture, the MTN5000 is claimed to be the industry's highest density CompactPCI remote access card. The card features 96 to 168 universal 56K/ISDN remote access ports, each of which can be configured to handle a wide variety of incoming subscriber calls, including V.90 56K, basic rate ISDN, and both fax and voice over IP.
The MTN5000 supports ITU-T V.90, V.34bis, and other lower data modulations, with MNP5 and V.42bis compression and MNP 2-4 and ITU-T V.42 error correction. It also supports ITU-T V.17, V.29, V.27ter, T-30, Class 2, and Class 2.0 fax modulations.
Hot swappable, the board fully complies with the PICMG hot-plug specification and meets all North American EMI and safety standards including UL1950, FCC part 14, Class A, CSA and CB, and also bears the CE mark.
The board comes with a development kit that includes sample Linux and Windows NT drivers as well as generic code. Available immediately, pricing is set at $60 per port and less depending on quantity and functionality.
