Addressing low-power concerns, the MIC-3316 3U CompactPCI controller relies on a 650-MHz Celeron processor to deliver efficient power consumption with less heat dissipation and a longer MTBF. No cooling fan is required, improving system reliability and reducing power consumption for special thermal requirements. With up to 348 MB of SDRAM, optional rear I/O support, 512 KB of battery-backed RAM, and two CompactFlash sockets, the board is suitable for rugged industrial applications. Other features include two RS-232/-422/-485 ports, one 10/100 Ethernet port, watchdog timer, DVI-I interface, PCI-to-PCI bridge drivers for up to seven masters, timer IRQ, AC-'97 audio, and a 2.5" hard-disk bay.
