The latest fleXPower X10 configurable power supply boosts power by 11% in the same size chassis as earlier 900W models. An output power up to 1 kW is available over the full input range of 85 to 264 Vac. At high line, 180 to 264 Vac, a single chassis can provide up to 1.2 kW and, via a double-deck feature that parallels the outputs, up to 2.4 kW. The unit provides multiple logic signals including global inhibit, AC OK and DC OK. A separate 5V standby output is also on board for monitoring circuits. Other features include an operating temperature from -20ºC to +70º C with derating, a typical efficiency of 85% at full load, over-voltage, over-temperature, overload, and short-circuit protection, line and load regulation of better than 0.1% and 1%, respectively, and a maximum ripple and noise figure of 50 mV or 1% peak-to-peak at 20 MHz. Price for a 1-kW supply is $592 each/100. XP POWER, Littleton, MA. (978) 287-7260.
