Connecting Hardware First In Category 6?

Feb. 1, 1999

Touted as the first telecomm outlet to exceed all proposed Category 6 industry requirements on both a component and channel basis for the full frequency range of 1 to 250 MHz, the MAX 6 module and MC6 modular patch cord is qualified for backward compatibility with existing categories and classes. This connecting hardware performance is made possible through the use of Tri-Balance technology- a combination of advanced pair balancing techniques used in the modular jack, pc board, and new S310 punch-down block. Tri-Balance, in conjunction with the KeyBar technology used in the MC6 modular cord, is said to deliver performance exceeding all proposed Category 6 specs.
