Connector Stacks Parallel Or Perpendicular

March 1, 1999

Boasting a pitch of only 0.5 mm, the Series JMD connectors can accommodate parallel (top entry connector) or perpendicular (side entry connector) board stacking. Board stack heights vary from 5.5 mm to 6.0 mm, depending upon entry style. The connectors are well-suited to high-density consumer electronic devices and offer a cost-effective alternative to 0.5-mm pitch flat flexible or printed circuit cable board interconnects.Contacts positions are from 20 to 100 depending upon entry style. Contact material is phosphor bronze, gold plated, rated 0.5A ac/dc. The housing material is PPA rated UL94V-0. The connectors are packaged on embossed tape reels for mounting by automatic insertion equipment.
