Spanning input voltages of from 36V to 75V, with nominal input pegged at 48V, and delivering 2, 3.3, 5, 12, 15, 24, 28 and 48 vdc, this dc-to-dc converter family is designed for telecomm and distributed power applications- front-end packages, such as dc input filters for telecomm applications and PFC for distributed power applications, also are available. The family embraces three groups of eight modules per group: the 4.6" x 2.2" x 0.5" MaxiMOD series offers output power ratings of 200W to 500W; the 2.28" x 2.2" x 0.5" MiniMOD line has a 100W to 250W rating; and the 2.28" x 1.45" x 0.5" MicroMOD series can deliver 50W to 150W. The converters also have a stepped package profile that allows the modules to be recessed into a board for an above-board height of only 09.45". In-board mounting also exposes the under side of the module to air flow for more effective heat removal. And the converters can be adjusted or programmed from 10% to 110% of the nominal output voltage using fixed resistors, pots, or voltage DACs.
