cPCI Frame Grabber Provides Four Video Inputs

Sept. 1, 2001

Offered in a 3U CompactPCI footprint, the CP337 32-bit frame grabber provides up to four video-input connections and dual video channels. The board is capable of simultaneous digitization of two monochrome CCIR and RS170 signals, and non-standard video formats can be interpreted via a camera editor program that allows user-defined parameter sets. With an eight-bit image acquisition and sampling rates up to 16 MHz, image data is transferred in real time to the host or video memory via a PCI bus using dual DMA channels. It can then be scaled with an on-board vertical and horizontal interpolation scaler and can be mirrored or converted to another format in real time before transfer to the host or memory. Price is $1,182. PEP MODULAR COMPUTERS INC., Pittsburgh, PA. (412) 921-3322.
