Exploiting an E6XX (Tunnel Creek) Atom processor, the ACR301 3U CompactPCI single-board computer (SBC) is highly viable for embedded computing apps requiring minimal power consumption and heat dissipation. It promises optimum performance per Watt and operates in harsh environments. The board offers four alternative versions of the Intel Atom processor (0.6 GHz, 1 GHz, 1.3 GHz, and 1.6 GHz) and comes in five ruggedization levels. Other features include a mezzanine (PMC) site, comprehensive I/O including two Gb Ethernet interfaces, two USB 2.0 ports, two full duplex asynchronous serial ports, two Gen 2 SATA ports, keyboard/mouse, and DVI video. Also, 1 GB of DDR2 SDRAM is soldered to the board. Supported operating systems include VxWorks, Linux, and Windows. GE FANUC INTELLIGENT PLATFORMS, Charlottesville, VA. (434) 978-5000.
