Current Sensor Is Designed For PC Board Mounting

Designed for pc board mounting, the EX9PA050 is a 0-to-5ARMS, 47-to-400-Hz toroidal current sensor that provides an electrically isolated ac output voltage of typically 0 to 10 mV that's proportional to ac current input. The device is constructed of material that's thermally stable over a temperature range of -35°C to 80°C, making it possible to achieve output linearities as high as 1% of the full 5A range. In use, the input current conductor passes through the 0.15" ID of the sensor without making electrical contact. The induced output voltage is linear and can be compensated by changing the load impedance.
