Designers of 1U power supplies and servers get a leg up on cooling their products with the 120 mm x 32 mm Rigel Series OD1232 dc fans. The fans feature double-sided pc boards with all surface-mount components and a multi-function design that permits the addition of special functions, including tachometer output, PWM input, thermistor speed control with on-hub or lead-wire options, and alarm signal. Each fan in the series integrates an auto-restart feature and, depending on the model provides airflows up to 130 cfm, speeds ranging from 1,800 rpm to 3,550 rpm, and noise characteristics as low as 25 dB. Operating voltages include 12V, 24V, and 48V with voltage ranges of 8V to 17V, 10V to 29V, and 18V to 56V, respectively. Currents range from 0.07A to 80A, and maximum static pressure ranges from 0.14" to 0.42". Single-unit prices for 12V, 24V, and 48V models are $15, $15, and $20 each, respectively.
