DC Source Provides

Sept. 1, 2002

A new multi-channel programmable dc source gives test engineers in avionics testing and other ATE applications multiple discrete outputs. The GX1838, a 3U PXI dc source, has eight output channels and three programmable 14-bit voltage rails. Each voltage rail can be programmed to output between -9V and +32V and can give a current of 100 mA. Rails can be connected to an external input and Rail C can be connected to an on-board programmable electronic load. Each of the rails can be switched to any of the eight output channels. The GX1838 was developed as a result of a growing demand for low-cost, high performance alternatives to VXI and rack instrumentation.
