Though less than 8 mm high, the MacroDens PKF 4110B dc/dc power module provides full output power for an input voltage range of 36V to 75V and delivers 85% efficiency at its rated output. The combination of high reliability and low stack height make the module suitable for IT and telecom applications, with board spacing down to 15 mm. The over-molded, rugged design also makes it suitable for industrial applications.
The module requires no heatsink to deliver the full 13W output across the input range. EMC compliance to EN55022 simplifies system level design. The modules achieve an MTBF figure of 4.9 million hrs.
