The LPC1768-Stick is a complete development kit that provides a quick and cost-effective introduction to the recently released NXP LPC1700 microcontroller family. The kit allows developers to examine the device’s power consumption, and the included HiTOP software runs on the LPC1768-Stick without limitations. HiTOP enables easy loading, debugging, and modifying of the sample applications, all of which come with source code. Also available are various extension boards for the quick development of prototypes. The LPC1700 family is based on the Cortex-M3 revision 2 core and is pin-to-pin compatible with the ARM7-based NXP LPC2300 series. Besides a number of integrated communication interfaces (Ethernet, USB host/device, CAN) the LPC1700 family integrates a mechanism for power reduction. The system includes the new wake-up interrupt controller, which allows for efficient entry into and exit from lowest power sleep states. HITEX DEVELOPMENT TOOLS, Irvine, CA. (800) 454-4839.
