Digital Receiver Supports Multi-Vendor FPDP Connectivity

Dec. 1, 2000

Supporting multi-vendor front-panel data-port connectivity (FPDP), the Model 6536 32-channel, digital receiver board accepts digitized data from four parallel inputs at sampling rates up to 40 MHz. The board houses a Graychip GC4016 quad-receiver chip that includes an internal cross-bar switch to handle all four inputs and a separate re-sampling stage at each receiver output. Users can configure the board to accept three 16-bit or four 14-bit inputs. Each of the two 32-bit front-panel FPDP connectors supplies two parallel digital inputs at clock rates up to 40 MHz. Model 6536 costs $17,999, with delivery times of 12 to 14 weeks ARO.
