Initially groomed for interoperability testing, the BMR 911 483/1 digitally controlled power module takes on enhancements for deployment in MicroTCA designs. Two additional features include a USB interface that is accessible via the faceplate and redundant operation of payload and management power. The module requires a -48 Vdc supply and delivers up to 355W of output power. Residing in a full-size (6HP), single-width form factor package, it provides 16 channels of 12V payload power and 16 channels of 3.3V management power. Other features include compliance with the PICMG specification MTCA.0 R1.0, a typical efficiency of 95% at half load, and a single-board design. For more details, call ERICSSON INC., Plano, TX.
