Digitizer Ogles Imaging Systems

Poised for SONAR and LIDAR imaging systems and ultrasonic testing, the CompuScope 1220 PCI-based digitizer features two input channels, 12-bit vertical resolution, and a simultaneous sampling rate of 20 Msamples/s. The board's 10-MHz bandwidth is available on most input ranges and accommodates both external triggering and clocking. Input ranges as low as ±50 mV, ac/dc coupling, and 50 ohms and 1 megohm impedances are controlled via software. Other features include a typical dc accuracy of ±0.5% of full-scale input, up to 2 Gsamples of memory, and an external clock frequency range from 1 kHz to 20 MHz. Up to eight digitizer cards can be combined as a master/slave system to provide up to 16 simultaneous input channels. Software development kits are available for C/C++, MATLAB, and LabVIEW with support for Windows 95/98/NT/2000/ XP. Price starts at $2,495 for the base model with 1 Msamples of memory.
