Providing a design option for ultra-low dust generating applications on assembly or transfer mechanisms, the company’s latest line of magnetic transmission drive components suit situations where the non-contacting components result in ultra low dust generation. These apps include many clean room assembly operations in the semiconductor, circuit board, business appliance, military ordnance, aerospace, and consumer markets. Additional applications include those where the low noise and minimal vibration caused by these components are critical to the assembly or transfer mechanism performance. The magnetic drive components operate on the principle of attractive force and function without contact. Depending on the transmission direction, Type MDQ allows perpendicular alignment while Type MDY allows parallel alignment. All components reside in 5056 aluminum housings with a gas emission prevention treatment. Outside diameters range from 16 mm to 35 mm and inside diameters from 6 mm to 20 mm. Prices start at $34 each. MISUMI USA INC., Schaumburg, IL. (800) 681-7475.
