EDA Roundup

Nearly 1000 I/Os are found on Hardi's latest FPGA-based ASIC prototyping board. The FPGAPRO_2x3 gives users access to multigigabit serial links and embedded PowerPC processors. The board also can be used as a standalone system for prototyping ASIC designs of up to 1 million gates or as an add-on to the company's HAPS multiboard system. With one Xilinx Virtex II Pro XC2VP70 or XC2VP100 on board, the FPGAPRO_2x3 offers 20 multigigabit serial links, two embedded PowerPC processors, and nearly 1000 user I/Os. Over 700 of these I/Os can be used in LVDS mode. Pricing starts at $13,900 each. For more information, visit
