The company’s low-profile IDC interconnect product line has expanded with the addition of ejector headers that mate with the 0.5'' and 0.1'' and the 2-mm IDC cable systems. Double row surface-mount ejector headers on 0.5'' pitch (EHF Series) are available in seven different versions ranging from 10 to 50 pins. These mate with all standard pin count IDC assemblies (FFSD Series) to produce a low-profile system with a mated above board height of only 0.445''. Surface-mount and through-hole ejector headers on 0.1'' pitch (EJH Series) are available in six double-row models having from 10 to 50 pins. These mate with IDC assemblies (IDSD Series) and result in a profile of 0.665'' in mated height. Surface-mount, through-hole and right-angle ejector headers (EHT Series) for 0.787'' pitch assemblies (TCSD) are also available. These provide a profile of only 0.480''. SAMTEC, New Albany, IN.
