Embedded: Boards Build AdvancedTCA System

The ATS-1136 Ethernet switch blade supports an ATCA 3.1 Ethernet AdvancedTCA fabric. It can be combined with the ATC-4130 single-board computer based on Intel's low-power, 2-GHz Xeon processor. The 8U ATS-1136 switch offers a pair of Gigabit Ethernet ports on the front panel. It supports 36 Gigabit Ethernet ports that can handle up to 16 AdvancedTCA payload slots. Two serial maintenance ports are found on the front panel as well. The single-board computer incorporates a 400-MHz front side bus, two 64-bit PCI mezzanine card (PMC) slots, two Gigabit Ethernet channels, AdvancedTCA Gigabit Ethernet support, two USB ports, and five integrated device electronics (IDE) ports. The IDE ports support an on-board hard-disk drive. Pricing for the ATS-1136 and ATC-4130 is $3145 and $2845, respectively.
