Enlisting the muscle of a Pentium 4 processor, the PL-01024 1U, rack-mount embedded development platform for networking and Internet appliances provides four Gigabit and two 10/1000 Ethernet ports. The scalable platform also supports PCI-X, Mini-PCI, Digital I/O (four in/four out), a serial RJ-45 connector, and one USB 1.1 port. Additional features include up to 4 GB of DDR RAM, a programmable LCD interface with a four-button keypad, bootable compact flash socket, and a 2.5" hard-disk drive bay. Optionally, users can also integrate SATA with RAID functionality.
