Embedded: Real-Time Linux Fits SBC, DSP Board

TimeStorm Linux Development Kits (LDKs) are now available for Curtiss-Wright Controls Embedded Computing's (CWCEC) SVME/DMV-182 Single Board Computer (SBC). The kits can also be had for the CHAMP-AV III Quad PowerPC Digital Signal Processor (DSP) Board. The LDKs handle the PowerPC 750FX and 750GX processors found on these boards. The Eclipse 3.0-based TimeStorm development environment incorporates the GNU toolchains and support for the 2.6 kernel-based Linux operating system. The LDKs include kernel drivers for all on-board devices. TimeStorm LDK begins at $4295 per developer seat.
