Three new filter network devices for EMI and RFI are available in chip scale packages to minimize ground-bounce and crosstalk. The WLP200 is an evaluation RC filter network targeting mobile equipment, such as cell phones. The device consists of six channel RC filters with different characteristics in a wafer-level package. All I/O pins are ESD protected for contact discharges up to 8 kV per the IEC1000-4-2 level 4 specification. Two versions with different capacitor values are available.
The CSPRC030 and CSPRC032 are 4-channel EMI filter networks. They consist of resistors and capacitors that provide filtering for portable applications, such as PDAs, laptops and Internet appliances. Pricing in lots of 10,000 is $0.58 each for WLP200 and $0.37 for both the CSPRC030 and CSPRC032.
