Representing an extension of the company's Comtec line, the new Comtec 120 series come in 4.72" x 5.90" x 0.79" and 4.72" x 5.90" x 1.57" sizes and are said to offer an attractive "softline" design and 10° ergonomically inclined operating area to provide safe, fatigue-proof operation. Comtec enclosures consist of a top and base molded in off-white or black ABS (UL 94 HB), with assembly via an interlocking system at the front and by two screws at the rear, which allows easier access when the cases are wall-mounted. Other features include a recessed top panel for mounting keypads or product labels and screw pillars for mounting pc boards; and, of course, the enclosures can be customized. Typical applications for the new enclosures include telecomm equipment, intercoms, surveillance devices, and point-of-sale terminals.
