Entry-Level SBCs Run At Speeds Up To 466 MHz

Nov. 1, 1999

Comprised of two full-featured models with clock speeds up to 466 MHz, the Endeavor family of single-board computers offers users a highly reliable and affordable entry-level solution for computer telephony, telecommunications and factory automation/process control applications. Based on Intel's Celeron processor and 440BX chipset, the boards are identical in terms of features, with the exception of an optional Ultra SCSI-3 controller. Both boards offer ISA/PCI bus passive-backplane architecture, 128 kbytes of L2 cache and on-board SVGA 3D accelerated graphics controllers. They also feature the ability to selectively disable all on-board peripherals, including the watchdog timer.
