Versalogic’s Cheetah PC/104-Plus single-board computer (SBC) takes advantage of Intel’s Ultra Low Voltage 1-GHz Celeron M to come in under 8 W (see the figure). It utilizes an Extreme Graphics 2 video processor with 3D rendering, full-motion video support, and MPEG-2 decoding. Peripherals include two serial, two USB 2.0, Ethernet, IDE, LPT, audio, and PS/2 ports. Pricing starts at $1170. Industrial temp versions are available.
