Extending the functionality of GIG-ARRAY high-speed, high-density connectors are 25-mm plug connectors that provide either 200 or 296 signal contacts and add the capability for a 40-mm stack height when used with the company’s existing 15-mm receptacles. The 25-mm plug connectors can also team with 5-mm receptacle connectors to achieve a 30-mm board-to-board spacing. The 40-mm stack height, said to be one of the highest in the industry, expands upon the options for 15, 17, 18, 20, 25, 27, 28, 30, and 35 mm board spacings, currently available as part of the GIG-ARRAY product range. All GIG-ARRAY connectors feature BGA termination to support conventional reflow soldering processes. FCI USA INC., Etters, PA. (800) 237-2374.
