By co-packaging HEXFET power MOSFETs, and Schottky diodes, these p-channel FETKY devices are said to provide save savings of up to 60% compared to using discrete devices. Housing two devices in a SO-8 package, the -40V IRF5803D2 and the -55V IRF7342D2 target buck regulator applications with 24V and 36V buses, respectively. The IRF5803D2 has a maximum on-resistance of 0.112½ at 10V and the IRF7342D2 has an on-resistance of 0.105½ at 10V maximum. Both devices have an ID of 3.4A.
